Our approach
Accessibility is part of Steppy’s product design, not a separate mode. We aim for simple navigation, plain language, strong contrast, large touch targets, clear focus states, and layouts that work across supported screen sizes.
Website accessibility
This website is designed with semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-accessible navigation, descriptive links, responsive text and layout, visible focus indicators, and reduced-motion support. We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where practical.
App accessibility
For the iOS app, we aim to support VoiceOver labels, Dynamic Type, sufficient colour contrast, alternatives to colour-only meaning, and predictable controls. Steppy also uses calm language and breaks complex actions into smaller decisions to reduce cognitive load.
Known limitations
Accessibility work is ongoing. Some visual animations, third-party purchase interfaces, date and time controls, or complex reorder and swipe interactions may not yet provide an ideal experience for every assistive technology. We prioritise fixes that prevent people from completing essential tasks.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email support@trysteppy.com. Please include the screen or page, what you were trying to do, your device and iOS version if known, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within three business days.
